CARMELO DE GIORGIO
Creative head & craftsman
The first candle holder was created in 1996 for my own use because I didn't want to have to find the right candle with the right diameter for the right candle holder every time and remove the wax after burning the candles - too complicated.
For me, functionality and simplicity are key, you will look in vain for ornamentation. During the whole process: from welding to grinding and polishing and finally, of course, when assembling the individual parts, a piece of me is always involved: Passion, precision and the joy of the work.
I love my homeland Calabria and everything that this country offers: sea, sun, wines and, of course, Calabrian cuisine. As a balance to my activity, I love to cook, preferably Calabrian specialties.

MANUELA SALTORI
Business Manageress
My story with Carmelo began with a spark of creativity and destiny. Almost 30 years ago, I met Carmelo De Giorgio in a locksmith’s workshop while working in marketing at a steel furniture manufacture. We instantly connected through a shared passion for creativity and the dream of building something of our own. I was drawn to the precision of his metal artistry, and it was clear our strengths were meant to come together. Carmelo brings ideas to life through design and craftmanship, while I manage the business and marketing side, using my love for languages to help us reach the world. We’ve built a life and a business together, sharing every idea, decision, and success side by side.
And outside of work, I still find inspiration in cooking and my love for exploring cultures—reminders of the journey we’ve taken, together
